Week 2 Update (Finally)

Image
Hello, Blog Followers!      I know.... I’m very much so behind on keeping this blog up to date. I got home from Europe, then was home for a few weeks before spending a week in California going to Disneyland with my family, and then I’ve been working and getting my summer jobs sorted out. Oh, and figuring out college stuff (post about that to come later on, because that will be an adventure too!).       So without further ado, Week 2 of my European adventure with a few pictures. I will try to get Week 3 and 4 up before too long. :) I’ll do the same thing as I did last time, with a condensed version and then more detail: Night of 3/13: Going away party for volunteers, drinking, playing pool, and Mexican food! 3/14: First day working on the pirate ship, The Golden Hind! 3/15: Walk to Cockington, a small village with cottages, with friends. Very peaceful. 3/16: Day 2 of being a pirate and “packing party” with one of my roommates 3/17: St. Patrick’s Day! Sunshine and bl

Hello Blog Followers!      Sorry to leave you hanging. I know that I’m way behind on getting my weekly updates up, as promised. Doing chores and watching the kids in The Netherlands for the past few weeks has kept me busy, and I want to give you the best content possible! I’ve also been unable to post because I don’t have my computer with me and Blogger doesn’t work very well on my iPad. When I get home I will put up all of the photos and in depth updates. For now I’m going to give you the condensed versions of the past 5 weeks. Stay tuned for more! Update and Europe Random and Fun Facts!

Hello Blog Followers! The adventure continues! I meant to get this blog post out a while ago... But I’ve been having a lot of fun! A quick update before catching up on what I’ve been up to - From the traveling I’ve done over the past few weeks, I’ve learned a lot. I’ve been to two new countries that have completely different cultures, I’ve tried new foods and met new people from different places, and I’ve gone out of my comfort zone to have an adventure. That being said, going out of my comfort zone - I’ve decided to come home early from my European Adventure. I’ve gotten a taste of the world, a new perspective 4,000 plus miles away from home, and I can’t wait to get to see and do so much more. But I’ve learned that solo travel at this point in time isn’t really for me. I’d rather travel with the people that I love. Memories are so much better when they’re shared! When I get home in two weeks (cheapest way to do it) I’m going to regroup with my people, plan some summer t

2 WEEKS!!! Thoughts

OH. MY. GOSH.      In exactly 13 days I will be all packed up and heading to the airport to take my first ever trip abroad. AHH!!       For the most part I'm really excited, but also a little nervous. This will be my first ever solo trip. It's a big deal. I'll have 3 weeks with a friend, Brent, and then it's all me for 9 weeks. Having someone that I know with me will be nice for those first few weeks: teamwork for if we get lost, exploring partner, train-riding partner, etc.       I also just found out that one of my best friends is going to be in London with his dad for a week, and it just happens to be one of the weeks I'll be in England! We haven't determined when or where or what we're gonna do, but we're hoping that the four of us can get together and hangout while abroad.       I'm looking forward to all of the new things I'll get to do abroad: try new food, meet new people, gain a new perspective on the world, experience di
